Radio Hams have a full range or communication modes at their disposal. These include plain voice, Morse code, numerous digital computer modes and even graphical modes like television. As a licensed amateur radio operator you will be able to join in experiments using all these modes.

Radio Amateurs, or "Hams" use two-way radio communication to make contact with other radio amateurs all over the world.

I spoke to ZS6ARA from the SA Agulhas II while at sea on the way to South Georgia Islands 2 March 2019.

Nothing great in the world has been accomplished without passion"- Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, philosopher

Clean water is a right and not a privilage.

The success or failure of any organisation is dependent on the inputs, contributions and outputs of its employees.

Employees are required to carry out their tasks effectively, diligently and productively according to their job descriptions and specifications. However, many surveys in South Africa and around the world show evidence that most employees do not meet the criteria of their work duties according to performance assessments.

Many young people come out of school and university thinking that they are able to add value to the working world and would be able to get employment.

In many cases the skills they have and have been taught are not fully aligned to real world skills needs or that they lack the practical experience which on-site, workplace-based training can provide.
